You know that number you have in your head that when you see it on the scale you say uh oh, that's it, time to seriously get my head out of my ass, or at least the pizza? Yeah well, I passed that like 5lbs ago. Not.cool.
I am not a numbers person. I HATE counting calories and keeping track of my nutritional stats...but it works people. Every.time.
I am going to take a different approach this time around though and NOT, let me repeat that, NOT going to leave out food groups. When I want to drop weight, my first instinct is to drop my carbs...but that just messes my body up (read like this... makes me want to kill animals and punch babies)! I don't want to drop carbs for life and I won't. I really do believe balance is the key. You leave out carbs and your not balanced anymore. I left out carbs for three shows and yes it got me lean...or maybe it was the 3+ hours of workouts a day :) *ahem* but I digress...no need to get all crazy, I just want to drop 10 lbs and feel more comfortable with myself. All I really have to do is drop the crap I eat all weekend long. It really is that simple. I eat great thru the week...take today's lunch for example...
A salmon burger topped with smooshed black beans and fat free cheddar cheese in between a sandwich thin and some roasted brussel sprouts on the side...omg that has to be my favorite roasted veggie yet!...DELICIOUS.

That and I need to be more consistent with my workouts. They've been haphazard lately cause I've just been feeling...meh. This whole "shoulder debacle of '07" has me in a sort of exercise depression. I don't like not being able to do what I want to do, when I want to do it. And for the time I've been pissing around I could have been fixed and on the road to recovery or what have you. So, no more messing around...Dr.'s appointment for my shoulder is Monday, Nov. 3rd.(Originally it was for yesterday but I was sick and not in the mood for crap news...(so much for "no more messing around" lol...oh shut up!)
In the meantime I am just going to keep my workouts in bodyweight circuits and some light weights. I had an awesome one this morning! Took me a full hour with a 10 minute run at the end.
Here's to pulling
Word.
P.S. I WANT TO GO TO THIS.....Fit Bloggin’ 2010
